I am a missionary with SIM serving in Jos, Nigeria.  I was born in Texas and graduated from Texas Women's University with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  I worked as an Occupational Therapist in Temple, TX for six and a half years.  The Lord called me to full-time ministry service in 1999 and I entered Dallas Theological Seminary.  I graduated in 2002 with a Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Ministries.  The summer after graduating, I went on a short-term mission trip to Jos, Nigeria.  During my time there, I was greatly impacted by the poverty and the lack of medical care and equipment available to treat patients.  I spent time with many street children and orphans, who had been rescued from lives of abuse, neglect, and involvement with the occult, and they stole my heart.  I saw that there were so many needs and knew that the Lord could use me to help these people, both physically and spiritually. When I returned home, I knew the Lord was calling me to Nigeria.  I joined SIM in 2002 and left for Nigeria in October 2003 to serve as a full-time missionary.
